Siberia Full-Size Headset!

So, let me tell you the journey I went through to acquire my Siberia Full-Size Headset. So I couldn't wait for this guy to deliver my headset to me so I went out on a journey to find this fan-boi pair of SteelSeries headsets. First I went to the place which gives that 3 to 5 day warranty, NexGen and I swear to God I will never go back there to get something ever again.

Anyway, I went to NexGen and I bought the headsets for RM299, cause you know; NexGen has a reputation. I picked it up and went straight home. The moment I opened the box, these were the first few words I said, "Where the f@&*(! is the microphone!?". I am well aware that there is a Siberia HEADPHONE where they sell only the headphones, but the box said "HeadSET" which means it should come with the microphone. I got pissed and I took it back and started making noise in the shop till they refunded my RM299.

Immediately after grabbing my money, I went straight to Jusco to look at the Pineapple store, and guess what. There was a box out for RM269. NICE! Checked the box first before buying.

TADAAA! Now I'm part of the Steelseries Siberia Fan Club.

The headphones have a good sound quality, equal clarity among highs, mids, and bass; as expected as these headphones are more oriented towards rock and roll music. Though they are headphones, the power required to give the punch in the bass that these babies can produce is pretty low and can be easily powered by most mp3 players. I've gave it a good round of listening, from rock, punk rock, screamo, jazz, sentimental, techno, eurobeat and even some R&B. Well my first true opinions of these headphones is that they must be able to seal about 89% of the space around your ear to give you it's true-sound. Though I'm not exactly done burning-in (Yes, I am a believer of the burn-in theory.) it sounds very good with a large sound-stage. Comfort-wise, it's a very comfortable pair of headphones to wear for long periods of time.

Maybe it's just me, but I have a much more enjoyable listening experience with these headphones as opposed to the ATH-M30, although the ATH-M30s have a much better seal which allows the bass to be more punchier.
